Osmocote baskets (or fertilizer baskets) are small, mesh-covered containers inserted directly into your plant's soil. They hold slow-release pellets like Osmocote, preventing them from washing away, protecting them from birds, and slowly delivering nutrients to the roots whenever you water.To use them:Fill & Close: Pack the basket with your slow-release fertilizer pellets and snap the lid shut.Insert into Soil: Push the pointed end of the basket directly into the potting soil near the edge of the pot.Water Regularly: As you water your plants, moisture seeps into the basket and dissolves the nutrients directly to the roots.These baskets are especially useful for bonsai, orchids, and heavy-feeding potted flowers.
